[kitchencabinetforum] OBAMA EMULATES THE SPENDING OF OCTOBER-18 MAFIA!

Ron Paul, the best Congressman, muses that one might think that the recent drama over the debt ceiling involved one side wanting to increase or maintain spending with the other side wanting to drastically cut spending, but that is far from the truth. In spite of the rhetoric being thrown around, the real debate is over how much government spending will increase.

Ron Paul, who runs for President of USA, notes that no plan under serious consideration cuts spending. Instead, the cuts being discussed are illusory and are not cuts from current amounts being spent, but cuts in prospective spending increases. This is akin to a family saving $100,000 in expenses by deciding not to buy a Lamborghini and instead getting a fully loaded Mercedes when really their budget dictates that they need to stick with their perfectly serviceable Honda.

We all know Obama is socialist, so is no wonder he emulates the President of Socialist International Papandreou! But the Greek government, October-18 Mafia, is the enemy of the Greek people. Premier Papandreou, godfather of October-18 Mafia, hoodwinks that his mafia will go straight, but nobody believes him anymore!

Papandreou did not keep his promise to abolish sinecures, government ownership, kleptocracy, Kangaroo Justice, marilizardism, Marilizard Libel, Marilizard Spaghetti, and Marilizard Towers. Christine Lagarde of IMF has made it absolutely clear she does not trust Graecokleptocrats, because they never apply what they vote in the Grand Brothel on Syntagma Square! That's why she sends her inspectors to Athens to see things are done as promised and voted.

October-18 Mafia is the most disgusting predator of internet on Earth! Civil society was shocked by the brutality and stupidity of October-18 fiasco, initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the government of Greece. That's why October-18 Mafia is the new name of the government of Greece! http://venitism.blogspot.com

Ron Paul points out this is the type of math Washington uses to mask the incriminating truth about the unrepentant plundering of the American people. The truth is that frightening rhetoric about default and full faith in the credit of the United States being carelessly thrown around to ram through a bigger budget than ever in spite of stagnant revenues. If your family's income did not change year over year, would it be wise financial management to accelerate spending so you would feel richer? That is what our government is doing, with one side merely suggesting a different list of purchases than the other.

We do not want USA to deteriorate to the miserable level of Greece! The impunity of the 300 Graecokleptocrats of the Grand Brothel on Syntagma Square is the most freakish thing on Earth. Even though Graecokleptocrats looted many billion euros in kickbacks and churning, not a single Graecokleptocrat has ever gone to jail! They are protected by the parliamentary immunity, and nobody can touch them, no matter what. Moreover, they have the nerve to jail dissident bloggers. It's a long way from the 300 Spartans of Leonidas! Allons enfants de la Grece! http://venitism.blogspot.com

Ron Paul notes that in reality, bringing our fiscal house into order is not that complicated or excruciatingly painful at all. If we simply kept spending at current levels, by their definition of cuts that would save nearly $400 billion in the next few years, versus the $25 billion the Budget Control Act claims to cut. It would only take us five years to cut $1 trillion in Washington math just by holding the line on spending. That is hardly austere or catastrophic.

Ron Paul points out a balanced budget is similarly simple and within reach if Washington had just a tiny amount of fiscal common sense. Our revenues currently stand at approximately $2.2 trillion a year and are likely to remain stagnant as the recession continues. Our outlays are $3.7 trillion and projected to grow every year.

Yet we only have to go back to 2004 for federal outlays of $2.2 trillion, and the government was far from small that year. If we simply referred to that year's spending levels, which would hardly do us fear, we would have a balanced budget right now. If we held the line on spending and the economy actually did grow as estimated, the budget would balance on its own by 2015 with no cuts whatsoever.

We pay 35% more for our military today than we did 10 years ago for the exact same capabilities. The same could be said for the rest of the government. Why has our budget doubled in 10 years? This country doesn't have double the population or double the land area or double anything that would require the federal government to grow by such an obscene amount.

In Washington terms a simple freeze in spending would be a much bigger cut than any plan being discussed. Ron Paul asserts that if politicians simply cannot bear to implement actual cuts to actual spending, just freezing the budget would give the economy the best chance to catch its breath, recover and grow. Otherwise we might loose our freedoms, as it has happened in Greece!

Marilizardism might metastasize in USA! Governments of many repressed countries, such as the Cradle of Kleptocracy, use marilizardist tools to manipulate netizens. Marilizard Libel is accusing dissident bloggers of treason, Marilizard Spaghetti is hurling charges against innocent people, Marilizard Tower is a stack of imaginary charges to scare a blogger, and marilizardism is terrorizing dissident bloggers. October 18 is the international day against marilizardism, and October-18 Mafia is the marilizardist government of Greece. http://venitism.blogspot.com

October-18 Mafia has robbed my computer and files at gunpoint! Accusing dissident bloggers of treason, Graecokleptocrats have manufactured a blood libel in cyberspace, which in turn incites hatred and violence. The freakish October-18 mafia, is the only government on Earth which robs the computers of its citizens!

Infamous CCU is the brutal arm of October-18 mafia which terrorizes the cyberspace, robbing computers and files at gunpoint, perjuring, jailing dissident bloggers, and gagging the truth. CCU of Graecokleptocracy is the most disgusting gang in Fourth Reich. http://venitism.blogspot.com

RE: [Homesteadingfamily] Coming up the road

We are trying, but our BOH is 8 hours away. We're slowly planting fruit &
nut trees and other long term survival-type foodstuffs in our woods.

We can't put any form of structure because of poachers. They'll destroy
anything to see if there is something to sell. Our neighbor has an RV on
his land. We went w/him as we saw it in the back (from our land) and
perhaps buy it.??? But when we opened it, it was used by locals as a crack
house; pipes, burnt tin foil, condoms, needles, bottles. UGH! He was in
shock.

RE: [Homesteadingfamily] Little Kitten in trouble with weaning & illness

Why not get a bottle and bottle feed her? You can get the canned milk which
will have the nutrients she needs in a quickly digestible form and see how
that works for a few days. Then slowly move to milk in a saucer, then
adding soaked mushed food then wean her off milk completely.

I've done this before w/a litter who's mum was killed when she hid for
warmth under a hood of a car.yes, it was not pleasant.

Hello Everyone,
I adopted a Siamese Mama cat and her kitten from the dog/cat shelter in our
area. The kitten seemed to be robust and very playful, but in the last two
weeks during the time Mama has been trying to wean her, she has taken to it
badly. She is about 7 weeks old at this point. She developed a cold last
week which she seemed to kick well~no breathing problems now, but is just
listless and seems to want to sleep all the time. She will eat a bit of
kitten chow in the mornings, but not much else all day. She will walk around
outside and try to be with Mama cat, but that goes over badly since Mama
wants nothing to do with her now. She looks depressed and still ill, even
though she shows no symptoms. We don't quite have the money for a vet at the
moment, so I'm wondering if you all have any sorts of recipes or formulas
that help with kittens who are having trouble thriving. The Mama cat had her
shots/spaying first thing, but this little one was malnourished so badly
that I was afraid to give her the shots or the worming, until she put on
some weight. Any ideas out there? She is in the house now for the night; I
don't know what else to do but keep her warm, and let her sleep for now.
Thanks,
Melanie

You are probably doing all that needs to be done providing that the eyes and nose are fairly dry and not "weepy." Do your best to keep him/her hydrated and away from stressful situations (dogs and agressive cats, etc). Do what you can and leave the rest in the hands of the Healer. In the end, that's all any of us can do...

Re: [Homesteadingfamily] Little Kitten in trouble with weaning & illness

When our goats' mama had mastitis, we brought them in the house. They really wanted to be with her, and the two weeks they were separated were very hard on the babies. Love always works. We hugged on them, fed them tasty treats, and never left them alone.

That may help your baby. That said, our kids were eventually returned to mama, and your kitty is old enough to be weaned. Have you tried soaking her food? Can you afford cat milk from the pet store or Farm and Fleet/Tractor Supply, whatever is near you? That may work better than cows' milk. Soak the kitten chow with a little cat milk for a week or so. It will make it softer for her little teeth. Gradually reduce the amount of milk over the course of the next couple of days so that, by day ten or so, she is eating just kitten food. Love on her often. After 5 days or so, I would do the worming, since that will help with her nutrition. If she is still listless and sleep three days from now, I would take her to the vet, since she was healthy and happy and that has changed.

Oh! And call the shelter where you got her. They will probably be able to give you ideas and tips, maybe even vet care. Hang in there.

[kitchencabinetforum] DIVERSE MARKET-BASED ENERGY POLICY

Alexandra Liddy points out that proposed international agreements for carbon-cap-and-trade schemes or carbon-dioxide regulations restrict Americans' own use of their country's resources and is tantamount to economic unilateral disarmament. Not only do carbon-cap-and-trade systems and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation of carbon dioxide raise energy prices, these practices are also detrimental to developing economies struggling to raise their own citizens out of poverty.

Vaclav Klaus points out people tend to confuse environment protection with climate control. We have to take care of our rivers, lakes, seas, forests, and air. But humans cannot control the climate. Rabblerousers have been for a long time searching for a simple and sufficiently threatening catastrophe that could justify the implementation of kleptocratic ambitions. After having tried various alternative ideas, they came up with the idea of dangerous, man-made global warming. This concept was formulated despite the absence of reliable data. http://venitism.blogspot.com

Klaus recalls that rabblerousers bought into the global warming dogma(WGD) at the Rio Earth Summit in 1992, fell in love with it and – without waiting for its scientific underpinning – started preparing and implementing economically damaging and freedom endangering measures. They accepted the idea that participating in the global warming game is easy, politically correct and politically profitable, especially when it is obvious that they themselves will not carry the costs of the measures they are advocating and implementing and will not be responsible for their consequences.

Liddy asserts state and local governments should allow power producers and consumers to determine pricing, technology deployment, and selection of fuels and supplies. State governments can and should audit their own properties and buildings for effective technologies, systems, surface treatment, and energy efficiency to save taxpayer money. Energy efficiency for government buildings should be determined by state and local governments, however, not by federal dictate. Beyond that, energy efficiency does not mean pitting one region of the country against another.

Consumer demand and competition between industries, retail businesses, and commercial enterprises are the real drivers of energy-efficient products. Federal energy policies that cap or restrict use of certain types of fossil fuels, such as coal, natural gas, or oil, under the auspices of environmental protection, limit the ability of the people in the states to determine the best means to fuel their own economies for manufacture, agriculture, trade, and other services. The truth is that government mandates are not a productive or sustainable alternative to free markets.

Liddy notes that restrictive legislation and environmental regulations that, in effect, levy taxes on the production of electricity or petroleum raise the cost of doing business for companies and the cost of living for consumers. Families not only pay the price at the fuel pump, thermostat, and grocery store, but bear the full cost of any taxes imposed on businesses by government regulators. http://venitism.blogspot.com

Lower-income families carry the biggest proportionate burden of these costs and struggle the most to make ends meet under regressive energy taxes. Most important, such restrictive policies that raise the cost of energy inhibit the financial freedom and spending power of families, enterprises, and communities. Ultimately, government-imposed costs for electricity harm West's international competitiveness for jobs and investment.

Liddy points out that a diverse, market-based national energy portfolio of fuel sources allows the private sector and state and local leaders to effectively provide affordable electricity and transportation, attract jobs, and foster business growth and improved quality of life for families. Any comprehensive national energy policy that relies on, or mandates, a future of expensive and unreliable fuel sources threatens to make the current economy energy deficient and future generations indebted to foreign governments for decades. http://venitism.blogspot.com

West has an abundance of onshore and offshore energy resources that can enable the affordable transportation of goods, whether locally, regionally, or internationally. States set standards that allow the private sector to access, inventory, and develop fuel reserves off their coasts or under their land through private leasing. While the states should set standards for outside access to resources within their boundaries, private energy companies are best able to determine the most effective and affordable means of providing electricity and transportation fuels for local commerce and economic development.

Furthermore, the states should be able to share royalties from federal lease sales for the safe development of those reserves as established by precedent through the sale of Lease 181 in the Gulf of Mexico in 2006. Four Gulf of Mexico states receive 37.5 percent of the federal revenues generated by the lease sale. Restricting access to those affordable fuels leads to higher gasoline prices and electricity costs, which have a significant negative impact on job creation, transportation, and individual mobility. Such restricted access also unnecessarily increases dependence on imported oil. http://venitism.blogspot.com

[kitchencabinetforum] THE SUDDEN DISAPPEARANCE OF NEANDERTHALS 40,000 YEARS AGO

New research sheds light on why, after 300,000 years of domination, European Neanderthals abruptly disappeared. Researchers from the University of Cambridge have discovered that modern humans coming from Africa swarmed the region, arriving with over ten times the population as the Neanderthal inhabitants. http://venitism.blogspot.com

The reasons for the relatively sudden disappearance of the European Neanderthal populations across the continent around 40,000 years ago has for long remained one of the great mysteries of human evolution. After 300 millennia of living, and evidently flourishing, in the cold, sub–glacial environments of central and western Europe, they were rapidly replaced over all areas of the continent by new, anatomically and genetically modern Homo sapiens populations who had originated and evolved in the vastly different tropical environments of Africa.

By conducting a detailed statistical analysis of the archaeological evidence from the classic Perigord region of southwestern France, which contains the largest concentration of Neanderthal and early modern human sites in Europe, Paul Mellars and Jennifer French have found clear evidence that the earliest modern human populations penetrated the region in at least ten times larger numbers than those of the local Neanderthal populations already established in the same regions. http://venitism.blogspot.com

This is reflected in a sharp increase in the total number of occupied sites, much higher densities of occupation residues (i.e. stone tools and animal food remains) in the sites, and bigger areas of occupation in the sites, revealing the formation of much larger and apparently more socially integrated social groupings.

Faced with this dramatic increase in the incoming modern human population, the capacity of the local Neanderthal groups to compete for the same range of living sites, the same range of animal food supplies (principally reindeer, horse, bison and red deer), and the same scarce fuel supplies to tide the groups over the extremely harsh glacial winters, would have been massively undermined.

Additionally, almost inevitably, repeated conflicts or confrontations between the two populations would arise for occupation of the most attractive locations and richest food supplies, in which the increased numbers and more highly coordinated activities of the modern human groups would ensure their success over the Neanderthal groups.

The archaeological evidence also strongly suggests that the incoming modern groups possessed superior hunting technologies and equipment (e.g. more effective and long-range hunting spears), and probably more efficient procedures for processing and storing food supplies over the prolonged and exceptionally cold glacial winters. They also appear to have had more wide-ranging social contacts with adjacent human groups to allow for trade and exchange of essential food supplies in times of food scarcity.

Whether the incoming modern human groups also possessed more highly developed brains and associated mental capacities than the Neanderthals remains at present a matter of intense debate. But the sudden appearance of a wide range of complex and sophisticated art forms (including cave paintings), the large-scale production of elaborate decorative items (such as perforated stone and ivory beads, and imported sea shells), and clearly symbolic systems of markings on bone and ivory tools – all entirely lacking among the preceding Neanderthals – strongly point to more elaborate systems of social communications among the modern groups, probably accompanied by more advanced and complex forms of language.

All of these new and more complex behavioural patterns can be shown to have developed first among the ancestral African Homo sapiens populations, at least 20,0000 to 30,000 years before their dispersal from Africa, and progressive colonisation (and replacement of earlier populations) across all regions of Europe and Asia from around 60,000 years onwards. http://venitism.blogspot.com
