[Homesteadingfamily] Re: Thank You

This summer has been exceptionally hot, so I don't think the garden did as well as last year. I planted 3 times as many green beans this year, but still only harvested about 28 quarts or so. The tomatoes are just coming on. I processed 30 pounds today when I got home from work, so there are 3 crockpots on my counter cooking tomato juice down to paste. I am hoping my pumpkins do well. The heat is really getting to them, too - but it is cooling off now in central Indiana.

Does anyone have any good advice for getting rid of squash bugs? Man I hate those things! We are organic here, so is there anything I could plant or encourage to grow that repels them?
