There is material inside of the canvas, the bleach will destroy the fibers. I would prefer natural products. I'm allergic to Lysol and strong smells.

I don't know if you are looking for natural products or not, BUT bleach will clean the mildew and mold off, can't beat it. That plastic stuff is tough.

We recently got a pop-up. We're going to chain to tree on property for when
we go out there to begin prepping.
My question is, how do you remove mold & mildew from the inside? I've got
several products which worked wonders on the outside. But the inside is
like..anyone old enough to remember nagahyde? The canvas material is the
same way, shiny on the outside and a cross-hatch on the inside.
How do you clean it?
