We had a bronze turkey as a pet for 8 years...and yes, I do think about
them while they are grazing in the front yard...on a platter! LOL I try
not to take them now, but when the times get hard, they will be at the
top of the list..I want their numbers to multiply now....
I notice on your salutation, you mention home school....so you own this
list or home school? We have home schooled both of our sons, I am
finishing with the second one now...he is a junior. I wanted our boys to
know more than academics, which are very important, too, but I want them
to know how to put a meal on the table and it not come out of a box! One
loves to be beside me in the kitchen, the other thinks it is for
sissies! LOL So, I work with what I have! I mill our grains for breads,
too...do you?

targets before pulling the trigger, some do not. You might consider
keeping the ladies close to home during hunting season. As for wild
turkeys, IMO God created no finer meal than a wild turkey! mm-mmm!
Keep in mind that the longer the beard, the older (& tougher) the bird.
Shoot a Jake with a little tuft of a beard. <G>

tenderloin and back straps into little steak medallions for the grill
(or iron skillet ... often for breakfast! LOL).
