In the melting pot, different cultures, races, and ethnicities are brewed into a stew. In the salad bowl, the ingredients combine into a salad but retain their distinct identity. In multiculturalism, the salad bowl notion has been conventional wisdom. Fourth Reich(EU)is based on the Graecoroman Culture.
Fresh fuel was added to Germany's ongoing integration debate over the weekend when Horst Seehofer, premier of Bavaria, said Germany should not accept any more Muslim immigrants. Seehofer said: It is clear that immigrants from other cultural circles, like Turkey or Arabic countries, have a hard time. That leads me to the conclusion that we do not need any more migrants from other cultural circles. Reality has taught us multi-culti is dead.
A healthy respect for the rule of law argues against a blanket grant of amnesty to the millions living among us who came here illegally. Some are tempted to brush off violations of immigration law, contending they're not as bad as other crimes. But if Germany is to survive as a nation of laws, German officials cannot pick and choose which laws they will enforce and which violations they'll just let slide.
Basil Venitis notes open immigration does not mean that anyone may enter the country at any location or in any manner he chooses; it is not unchecked or unmonitored immigration. Open immigration means that anyone is free to enter and reside in a country, providing that he enters at a designated checkpoint and passes an objective screening process, the purpose of which is to keep out criminals, terrorists, Muslims, enemies of the country, and people with certain kinds of contagious diseases. Such a policy is not only politically right; it is morally right.
German President Christian Wulff fanned the flames on October 3 by declaring at celebrations marking twenty years of German reunification that Islam had become a part of Germany, earning him sharp rebukes from the right. The state premier of Hesse, Volker Bouffier, rejected Wulff's assessment saying Islam did not belong to the foundations of our republic, and that Germany did not need to change, but rather the Islamic immigrants.
Thilo Sarrazin's book Deutschland Schafft Sich Ab, Germany Abolishes Itself, shows that higher fertility rates would allow Muslims to dominate Fourth Reich in the not-too-distant future. The book tapped into fears among many Fourthreichians that the Graecoroman culture is in danger. Culture is constantly in flux, and demographic changes bring cultural shifts with them. Islam overtaking the Graecoroman culture will bring a quantum discontinuity of our evolution downwards and the loss of our freedom.
Sarrazin points out Muslims sponge off Fourth Reich(EU), are incapable of integrating themselves into Fourthreichian society, and constantly produce little girls in headscarves. Muslims have no productive function other than in groceries, dumb down society, and are conquering Fourth Reich through a higher birthrate. Muslims are taking over France, Germany, Vardaska, Bosnia, West Thrace, and Cyprus exactly as Albanians took over Kosovo, via a higher birth rate.
Sarrazin notes Fourth Reich's Muslim immigrant families have profited from social welfare payments to a far greater degree than they have contributed to Fourthreichian prosperity. Muslim immigrants would rather work under the table than legally. The much higher birth rates of Muslims will result in a Muslim population overtaking that of Fourth Reich's autochthonous population in two centuries.
Sarrazin's particular brand of ethnic hyperbole is both articulate and honest, and many of the fears he plays on have long found a place in CDU discourse. Friedrich Merz kicked off an immigration debate by calling for newcomers to adhere to a German Leitkultur, leading culture, a term that many felt denigrated other cultures. Juergen Ruettgers coined the term Kinder statt Inder, children instead of Indians, in protest against a center-left plan to ease immigration rules for IT experts from India and elsewhere. Roland Koch kicked off yet another immigration debate by making the overabundance of criminal young foreigners a key element of his rhetoric.
Conditions in areas like Berlin's Kreuzberg ghetto give rise to very real, justified concerns. There are schoolrooms where three-quarters of the students are from immigrant families, students whose German is barely good enough to get by. There are Turkish, Arab, and Albanian family clans that control crime syndicates and receive welfare benefits. There are phenomena like forced marriages and honor killings. In some mosques, imams are encouraging the faithful to engage in Islamist terror. A tsunami of Islamization is sweeping across our continent. Fourthreichians don't want their grandchildren to live in a mostly Muslim country where Turkish and Arabic are widely spoken, women wear headscarves, and the day's rhythm is determined by the call of the muezzin.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan angers many Germans whenever he warns Turkish immigrants against assimilation in Germany. He calls assimilation a crime against humanity! Erdogan demands Turcogermans to stay in their ghettos away from Germans, speak only Turkish, import wives from Turkey, and make many children, in order to outnumber Germans in two centuries.
Erdogan demands Turcoghettos to become babymills! There are obligatory German language courses for foreigners who collect social welfare, but most Turks who are required to take the language courses to improve their opportunities on the labor market, either don't attend classes or quit them early.
Turkey is trying to maintain its influence over imams in Germany and, therefore, on immigrants of Turkish descent through its Directorate of Religious Affairs(Diyanet). Year after year, Diyanet sends hundreds of Turkish civil servants to work as imams in the 896 Turkish-Islamic Union for Religious Affairs(DITIB) communities in Germany. In their sermons on Turkish holidays and their patriotic speeches, they often reinforce the immigrants' ties to their former homeland.
Sarrazin is being pilloried over his polemic chastising of Muslims, but there are a few things his critics clearly fail to understand. You can't cast away what the man embodies, the anger of a German people who are tired of being cursed at when they offer to help foreigners to integrate.
Debates about identity and cultural dominance are ubiquitous in an increasingly globalized world. Germans are not only demographically working towards their own demise, but also that they are bidding farewell to their cultural and educational background. Intimidation from the politically correct thought police of the media and the threats they issue of casting people out of society no longer work. By now the public has a highly developed instinct for fairness.
Venitis notes the overriding impact of immigrants, except Muslims, is to strengthen and enrich culture, increase the total output of the economy, and raise the standard of living of citizens. Immigrants are advantageous for several reasons. Since they are willing to take a chance in a new land, they are self-selected on the basis on motivation, risk taking, work ethic, and other attributes beneficial to a nation. They tend to come during their prime working years, and they contribute to the workforce and make huge net contributions to old-age entitlement programs.
Immigrants tend to fill niches in the labor market where demand is highest relative to supply, complementing rather than directly competing with native workers. Many immigrants arrive with extremely high skill levels, and virtually all, except Muslims, regardless of skill level, bring a strong desire to work. Their children tend to reach high levels of achievement in schools and in society at large.
A venitist survey shows that 80% of Germans oppose EU membership for Turkey. How on Earth could Turkey apply for membership to EU when it occupies a piece of EU, North Cyprus, for 36 years now! What a nerve! Large, poor, terrorist, genocidal, and mysterious, Turkey, the leading nation of the Global Caliphate, is viewed with a certain amount of skepticism by many within the European Union. Turkey has a greater land mass than France, a population as large as Germany and is as poor as Romania. Yet it is the third point, the idea of Turkey being different or alien, that sticks. The unspoken sentiment is that Turkey is just not like the rest of the European club.
