Hi, folks. My name is Rose, I'm 62, I live in rural upstate New York with husband, Fred, on our 9 acres of fairly secluded land.
We've done homesteading before, but not at this place and we miss it. So, I'd like to start over, a bit smaller, perhaps, but definitely get my hands dirtier than they are right now! So, I'll probably have questions.
Glad to be here and amongst people who love the country life.
BTW, hubby and I were born and raised in Brooklyn and lived in the city environs before our exodus to the country in '85. We started on a hobby farm with barns and fields and a small commercial sheep operation. Good times! But we're a lot smaller now and, most importantly, we are debt free!
