I love the Jersey's, too, Melody...and it would be really hard to part
with ours...they are so spoiled rotten! I like the smaller ones, too.
That is why I bought a good mini bull to bring the sizes down some but
not make "toys" out of them. Those tiny cows would be very hard to milk
and from what I have heard, many are sterile. You could tie up a lot of
money in them and when it is time to breed, find out that they cannot.
I just want to keep raising healthy, friendly homestead cows. I hope you
find your farm another good milker...they really so become one of the
family!~deb
