Don't you just LOVE it when moderators/owners do that? Happened to me as
well in the past.
I love another group that threw me off because I was Pagan. She kept
quoting bible verses, well I would use the Koran or Confucianism to counter
her quotes. She said she was offended by my lack of Christian views. Well,
Christianity is relatively young compared to the other religions and she
didn't like that. She also hated that I showed her our Founding Father's
didn't use the bible as a basis for the Declaration, they used a French
philospher. She banned me for that. J
I use Wikipedia only for things like looking up plants or animals, nothing
really important.
I used to work for a lawyer, and was REALLY surprised when he had me print
off something form Wikipedia. I tried to explain to him that anybody can go
in there and change/add sentences. He and his wife are not very computer
literate at all, he never even used the computer when he was in the office.
Okay, now that's frightening!
And I'm sure other, not-so-smart people make *corrections* there as well. I
would never use that as a reliable source of info...
I know of friends who deliberately post stuff on wiki to dis-inform! One
was thrown out of UNO (University of New Orleans) for proving his professor
was wrong and an idiot! Too rich!
