I know a few people around here, who build their cellars and lived in them
while building the upstairs...great idea Teresa!

Once you decide on a homesite location, and have your water well, build
your cellar first, and don't skimp on the size of it. The cellar will be
useful for a lifetime, and you can actually live IN it while you build your
home. Kind of makes me think of early pioneers that lived in dugouts while
they planted their crops and built their log cabins. <G> So, I guess you
need to decide on your garden locations and begin to prepare them (layouts &
hay/straw cover).
