There was one manual that I'd wanted to include in this list, knew I had it,
but couldn't put my finger on, and just unearthed it:
Hicks, A and E Nedeau. 2000. New England Freshwater Wetlands Invertebrate
Biomonitoring Protocol (NEFWIBP), A Manual for Volunteers. UMass Extension
and MA Coastal Zone Management
This is a great manual with lots of background and also detailed sampling
methodology, etc. Don't know about availability, but it would be worth
trying to locate a copy.
