Dear Water Forum colleagues:
I have some news of interest to share with list members. The Journal
of Industrial Ecology has just released a special issue on the
Environmental Applications of Information & Communication Technology
(ICT). The entire special issue is available on the web, free of
charge, at
<http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/jiec.2010.14.issue-5/issuetoc>.
The issue offers insightful research related to environmentally
beneficial applications of ICT, covering topics such as innovative
household energy auditing, mapping energy use to specific localities,
and "smart" irrigation systems, as well as addressing the broader net
environmental impacts of ICT.
The Journal of Industrial Ecology is an international peer-reviewed
bimonthly owned by Yale University and published by
Wiley-Blackwell. It is the official journal of the International
Society for Industrial Ecology. To read the full press release,
