Sarah...we don't commonly purchase handguns from stores in our house.
Not to say that we would not, but we have purchased from other private
owners. The thing here for me, is that *they* continue to regulate guns,
period. I mean, who care is someone wants to buy 2 or more at one time,
perhaps it is a good deal or a better deal if one DOES purchase one or
more at a time.....*they* think that guns kill people, but in fact, guns
don't kill people unless a PEOPLE pulls the trigger. lol And more often
than not in our state, we hear everyday for the past week or two , where
someone was robbed and THEY pulled out a gun and killed the perpetrator!
I love that! No tax money wasted keeping their sorry butts up until they
can get out and do it again. End of story for them..the way it should
be.
I am with you on the multi purchase...and I am with Jeanne on the use of
semi auto's...they have their place in the arsenal, that is for sure.
But, if one should WANT to make a multi purchase, I think they should be
able to do so. Street thugs are not gonna waltz into a gun store and
layout $$$ and have to go through all that paperwork when they can get
them on the street much cheaper and easier...so it really prevents the
typical homeowner or hobbyist from getting what they want. More
government intrusion, if ya ask me.....~deb

lecture me. Why would anyone need to purchase more than 1 weapon at a
time and why do you need semi automatic weapons for hunting. I have 5
people who can legally hunt in my house, but rarely are more than 2 out
at any one time. Added to that we do not use semi automatic weapons and
have never needed them.

purchasing 2 just seems like it would never happen. With out the meth
labs and other things area I'd rather keep drug runners and others
committing crime away from this, then encourage it. I have nothing
wrong with weapons and protecting ones self and property. But this just
doesn't seem like a necessity in my mind.
