We do not waste ammunition and destruction for pleasure is not something we do in this house. I will shortly have 6 people of hunting age in this house and we share rifles. It has never been an issue.
I just do not understand why I need a semi-automatic. It makes no sense to me, by what you stated. Maybe it's because I see hunting as a way to provide meat on the table and not as a toy. Maybe it's because I do not feel I need weapons to feel safe.
I guess I'll be the oddball, but I see nothing wrong with the legislation as it stands.

My aunt has 3 boys. Who enjoy destroying stuff. They frequently purchased
4 guns and rifles at gun shows. There are 4 men in family, but my aunt also
hunted and shot.
Semi-auto is also a good safety feature. WTSHTF, you'll be looking for that
option.
