Re: [Homesteadingfamily] better get 'em while they're (not) hot....

Alain and Jeanne,

I never said you did not have a choice or tell either of you how to use your weapons or even what you were going to use them for. I feel I asked a legitimate question why this was a problem and I specifically stated I wanted to understand.

I stated that we do not waste ammo. I can't afford to. I have nothing against practicing, but when one is proficient in my house one does not go out and use the gun except when hunting. If I felt it was a safety issue then I'd say we'd used it for such. At this point it hasn't been

I also stated that we do not destroy things just because we can. There are times to recycle material. I did it recently with a bunch of hands. my guys are also firefighters and have trainings that require burning houses and using the jaws of life on cars. I don't see this as destruction for any means other than learning, just like you practice shooting periodically to retain your skill.

I am neither for or against the possible bill just waderstand why it was an issue. I now have a better idea of why some people would have an issue with it. I see this list as a great place for me to learn that.

As someone who raises my own food (meat, veggies, and fruit), I live as off because Id to enjoy that ability. But I am not a survivalist. I do not believe our society is going to colapse at any moment although I do think the deprested long before other people believe it did. I just am interested in how others live and to try and learn new things for what we do. I that information. However, I do not appreciate people getting upset with me because I choose to ask a question to try to understand when I stated original was doing this.

I guess in the future I will email my question to those I can trust on the list verses putting my question out for all so that all can learn because my guess is there are others like myself (people who want to learn will lose out with me doing this.)

it"s not a choice it"s a freedom that you stand to lose.
it's being taken away a little at a time.
you may not want a semi but i may
how i use ammo is my choice just like your choice in ammo use
a gun is not just for hunting
it's for defending your home and liberty also
