That shouldn't surprise me at all, but it does, anyway. That is truly
sad...:-(
I HATE buying chickens at the store, and usually only do so to feed my dog,
but it is hard to find places that sell the Hutterite chickens, which are
supposedly hormone & abx free.

I'm with you! I buy eggs from a lady down the road that has a few chickens,
and we get raw milk from a farmer that has to sell it as pet food because it
is illegal to sell raw milk in Montana. I don't need the *alphabet agencies*
to control my food, either.
