This is the principle of marginal utility. What's worth more, oil or wheat? I think the arab countries as a whole are in the lack of food situation. Cheap oil for cheap wheat. I think we should be getting away from oil dependency regardless but we can't seem to think together on that point. Now would be a perfect time to hit green energy options hard while we have a chance for cheap oil. big oil will do all they can to stop that. As long as they can live like kings now what do they care what the future holds.
