collecting rare wild animals often know more than "we" do in a lot of
instances, but creating a resource for them isn't a great idea. Generic
road crossing sites information isn't likely to lead to new collection
pressures - first it won't be clear that there are rare species involved,
and the phenomenon is so difficult to hit that I can't imagine it being an
enticement.
The intrepid collector could cross-reference these sites with PriHabs if
they want to find novel sites, however. So... filtering out recorded
crossing sites that fall within PriHabs and making the remainder publicly
available might be a good compromise.
