Blue-spots were moving in Easton last night from at least 8 PM onward, even though the real rain didn't commence until 11::30 PM. Temps were still 55-57 F.
One spring peeper heard and another seen in Attleboro around 8:30 PM, temps 50-52 F. Nothing else seen there 7-9 PM except a few redback salamanders.
Much snow has melted away in eastern MA, and margins of vernal pools have thawed...we can probably expect significant movement with the next warm rain event (Friday night?).
Spring is finally arriving!
