My favorite cookbooks are the ones that have stories about family members/recipes, tips for decorating/using items for purposes other than there original use, etc.
My favorite cookbooks are:
The Pioneer Lady Cookbooks by Jane Watson Hopping
Any of the Gooseberry Patch cookbooks, but especially Christmas ones
Not Just Beans by Tawra Jean Kellam
I also like old cookbooks. Cookbooks with simple recipes.
I don't like modern cookbooks. Don't like cookbooks with glossy pages.
I have a large collection of cookbooks and still buy them when I see one I really want.
