SALAMANDER NIGHT in Tully, NY!
hordes of the yellow spotted salamanders came down out of the hills
surrounding Labrador Hollow last night. They weren't alone, many other
amphibians were out last night as well. What started as a trickle became a
deluge as the rains began in earnest! By mid-night one section of road was
crawling with critters.
There were also wood frogs, American toads, Jefferson salamanders and one
lone, Blue-spotted salamander seen as well
