Hello. I am new to this group. I can not go on living the way society dictates with its greed and corruption. I wasnt aware that homesteading in its traditional sense was still allowed. I would love to learn more about it.I grew up in the mountains of Western Va hunting and camping and backpacking. I am very good at taking care of myself in wilderness situations even though I was from the city. I recently had a complete breakdown from doing the job of three people in my last job. The pressure was enormous. I was the only electronics engineer in the company. I wound up in a state mental institution for over a month just to half way recuperate. I can not keep living in this world of pressure. I need to completely change back to the good old days when life was hard work but simple. I hope to meet others like me and to learn what they do and learn more about self sufficient living in a day that Gov wants to make you conform to their funneled mold of society. Thank you.
