[Homesteadingfamily] Re: Chain saw saw mill

 

In this area most people that cut a limited amount of lumber use a band saw mill. I don't believe you can cut a large amount with a chain saw milling set up. If you only needed a few planks that might work.
Get a Mother earth news or Country side magazine and check out the ads. Also, there maybe someone in your area that has a portable mill that would come to your place. Maybe you couls work out a good deal.
