When backpacking we take a bell pepper cut it in half, remove seeds, dice the onion and add pepper and salt, and then mix onion with ground beef and some uncooked rice and the stuff bell pepper add 2 T water, wrap in foil tightly and place in hot coal NOT the fire, and cook 15 minutes, turn carefully and cook 10 more minutes. Unwrap and eat.
