Thank you for your reply. We have neighbors around us and one neighbor in
particular about 1/2 mile down from us has 3 pyrenees that show up here
occasionally out of curiousity. But I'm thinking our farm is about as close
to the boundary of those dogs and allow the coyotes to still get close. They
have horses and a large scale chicken operation up there. This farm we now
have was vacant for a couple of years, and an older lady lived here for many
years before that. I suppose that the coyote's used this as their "base"
operation, since no one has really been outside for several years. This farm
is 300 acres big, with only about 3 acres cleared~our barns and house are on
that, with 2 streams flowing on either side of the property.
I'll go talk to our neighbor today.
