Hello,
I have a bunch of tiny wood frogs in a stock tank in my back yard that I rescued as eggs from a rut in the road and now appear to be fully developed. I assume they are ready to move into the woods, but I worry they will not do so on their own because they are adapted to climbing out of a pool in the ground, rather than across the log bridge I have made that leads out of the tank and into the weeds nearby. Should I take them out myself, and if so would the cover of night be better? We have carefully tended this brood and would love for some of them to survive in the wild woods. Any advice is appreciated.
