I just moved back into town where we have little to no yard and very little
in the way of opportunity to have a large garden. I've got friends who
garden, as well as having access to some amazing local farm stands. There
is one farm who has a CSA box that starts at $100 a month and includes
MEAT! One day I will be able to afford it!
I am still a member of Gleaners, but need to get set up with the local
group, because field gleans are coming up and I want to be sure to get lots
of blueberries, corn, potatoes, green beans and other stuff!
My mom's friend (boyfriend really) has a HUGE garden with Tomatoes, peppers,
corn and so much more!
We still have a very full pantry and have fed more than one hungry family in
the last few months.
I have also been super expanding my sewing businesses! I will be paying the
rent next month on proceeds from my sewing alone! Now if we could find
hubby a full time regular job! =0
