Hi Mel,
We have the Super Dollar Store in our area and I enjoy shopping there, especially for some of the sale items. I'm stocked up on green beans and other veggies, tomatoes, beans, tuna, spaghetti sauce. The green beans and some other veggies are 39 cents ea when you purchase 10, mix and match. A few months ago, canned tuna was 19 cents a can. I think this is better than the brand name tuna.
When they first opened, you could purchase as many of the deals as you wanted, now they have limited it to 5 deals per visit. They have the store brand macaroni and cheese for 25 cents a box. Very seldom do we use macaroni and cheese, but I know people that have bought it and they said it was a good as the Kraft brand.
With prices increasing in other stores, how much longer can they continue to have these prices, though I know some of the things have increased in price over the past 2-3 months.

I'm working as the budget allows to get the lamps and flashlights. I was in
he Super Dollar grocery store the other day, and they had family size cans
f baked beans on sale for .99 cents a can, and an expiration date of 2014.
bought 30 of those big cans. Spices and seasonings were on sale for 10 for
10, and I bought several of those. The lady at the register looked at me
ike I was crazy. I just smiled,
