RE: [Homesteadingfamily] Coming up the road
We are trying, but our BOH is 8 hours away. We're slowly planting fruit &
nut trees and other long term survival-type foodstuffs in our woods.
We can't put any form of structure because of poachers. They'll destroy
anything to see if there is something to sell. Our neighbor has an RV on
his land. We went w/him as we saw it in the back (from our land) and
perhaps buy it.??? But when we opened it, it was used by locals as a crack
house; pipes, burnt tin foil, condoms, needles, bottles. UGH! He was in
shock.

How about an in the ground structure? Small, in a spot not easily seen?
In years to come, in -the-ground will be the place for better security, easier to heat/cool. Stored things better able to control the environment, and, using solar power you can still have 12v fridge, freezers, etc.
More than one way in or out of course.
