Banisar asserts the vast majority of online content is legal and fully protected under UK law from being censored. Any restrictions placed on social media and the internet constitutes a major violation of national and international law. For the UK government to try even consider hitting the "kill switch" for the internet, as was done in Egypt not so long ago, or to ban perfectly legal services such as BBM used by millions is wrong.
