Wow, who would have thought?
We bought honey in the Yucatan in Mexico on a visit last year. We had a good visit with the storekeeper, who told us all about how Yucatan bees are different from other bees, including not stinging. The honey was very liquid, which he said was just its characteristic. It was very sweet and flavorful. We were happy with it, until months later. It fermented. I guess it was adulterated, which is really creepy.
I wish I knew if Costco honey was bad. We have a lot of it.

This is why I _always_ check the label, and I don't buy _anything_ from
overseas.
