Let me tell you that, despite a total downpour for a while on Saturday, this was one great show. Lots of sheep, lots of different breeds, and then there were goats, alpacas, llamas and bunnies too. What a fuzzy event. And there was some good music too, one regular wandering singer who is almost always there plus a family that come down from Long Island.
As far as sales, I think everyone did well. I, personally, did fantastic. And I want to thank Bitsy for having enough faith in the quality of my work that she purchased 30 spindles for resale at SOAR and, if any are left, at Rhinebeck
The barns were well laid out, the food was good (I was told - new diet for me), lots of stuff to see and do, good classes, and just a bit of mud. All in all it was a wonderful event. My only bit of criticism would be to suggest that next year they tape out the merchant buildings and number the spots (yes, I read the map upside down and wound up in the wrong spot).
I don't think that there will be very many spaces open next year so if you are interested, apply very early. You might suggest opening up what is not the vendor parking area for outdoor vendors.
GSSBs You did an excellent job and I will defintiely be back next year.
