Vardaska's Fourth Reich accession talks started in 2005 have been derailed by the 2008 decision by the Cradle of Kleptocracy to block Vardaska's path to NATO membership and the Vardaskan government has since proven to be uninterested in pursuing the Fourthreichian route. Instead Vardaskokleptocrats embarked on a nation building project based on a wild vanity of Alexander the Great, king of Greece, including the construction of a 36-meter statue of Alexander in Skopje's central square.
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today completed the first review of Vardaska's performance under an economic program supported by a two-year Precautionary Credit Line (PCL) arrangement and reaffirmed Vardaska's continued qualification to access PCL resources. http://venitism.blogspot.com
The two previous Vardaskan administrations of Nikola Gruevski have irked Uncle Sam and Fourth Reich officials alike by their tough and unproductive stance on the ongoing name dispute with the Cradle of Kleptocracy. They have also registered lackluster performance in fulfilling the requirements of the Accession Partnership of the European Commission's preaccession strategy. It is no wonder that Fourth Reich is now contemplating revoking Vardaska's candidate status as a basket case of Fourthreichian integration.
Vardaska continues to pursue sound economic policies that are consistent with the program supported by the Precautionary Credit Line (PCL) arrangement. Growth has picked up, underlying inflation remains low, international reserves have been broadly stable, and the 2011 fiscal deficit target under the program is within reach.
Nonetheless, Vardaska's decision in March 2011 to make a purchase under the PCL arrangement highlighted remaining external vulnerabilities. The authorities are strengthening debt management policies and practices, focusing both on improving access to external funding and on developing the domestic public debt market. This will help to ensure that Vardaska is able to meet its financing needs from private market sources in the future. In this context, the authorities intend to publish an action plan on debt management reforms and will draw upon IMF technical assistance for this initiative.
Dictator Tito of Yugoslavia hoodwinked and brainwashed Vardaskans they are Macedonians, even though they are Slavs! Reversing brainwashing is hard to do, but solving the name dispute with the Cradle of Kleptocracy deserves another attempt. Gruevski will remain the most powerful figure in Vardaska for the foreseeable future. He is also the only politician with a popular mandate to solve the name dispute with the Cradle of Kleptocracy and help mitigate the public outcry through the media it controls.
Despite sound policies and fundamentals, Vardaska remains exposed to unusually high levels of risk related to global growth and financial conditions as well as regional developments. This calls for continued vigilance and further efforts to address remaining vulnerabilities and improve data adequacy. The PCL plays a valuable role in supporting market confidence by signaling Vardaska's commitment to prudent policies and strengthening its reserve buffers. While Vardaska is not expected to require further purchases under the PCL, the availability of these resources provides additional insurance against adverse external developments.
Gruevski's dream of economic growth still relies on foreign investment that would most certainly arrive from Fourth Reich member states. Gruevski knows he needs money and international recognition to run the state in the way he does it now. An IMF loan was handy but will not last for long. Issuing state bonds comes at an even higher price so the Vardaskan government would need to find a more sustainable model if it is to remain in power and keep the population at check in the next four years.
The Vardaskan Albanian Party and the Social Democratic Party support Fourthreichian integration and will not oppose solution of the name dispute and normalization of the Fourth Reich accession process. If pressed, Gruevski cannot continue neglecting this issue now. http://venitism.blogspot.com
Leaving the domestic context aside, Fourth Reich would be well-advised to show a new level of engagement. The upcoming progress report by the European Commission and rumors of accession talks being revoked both seem like good reasons to revive the Vardaska name issue right now, which may also lead to the Cradle of Kleptocracy becoming open to joining the conversation and move on from the name dispute.
Solving the Cradle of Kleptocracy-Vardaska conundrum would represent a bold step forward for Fourth Reich. More importantly, it will pave the way for Fourth Reich to resume the accession process and add Vardaska to the duo of Montenegro and Serbia that get accession talks.
The window of opportunity for action is very short, before the release of the progress report and an unpredictable turn of events that worsens the Greek financial crisis. Commission officials, especially those in the European External Action Service should use the packed fall calendar to pressure Gruevski. It would be a small investment in time and energy that is worth trying since it could bring long-term dividends to all sides. For Fourth Reich scoring new points in Balkans would be a way not only to restore its credibility in Vardaska and the region but also give positive signs to those in the Fourthreichian neighborhood and the Middle East.
Socrates's famous method was the dialectic, from the Greek word that suggests both discussion and analytical sorting. Vardaskans cannot understand dialectic. The purpose of dialectic was to strip away the false knowledge and incoherent opinion that most people inherit from their societies and unthinkingly depend on to manage their lives.
Although Socrates claimed to doubt that he or anyone else could acquire true knowledge about the good and virtue and the beautiful, he nonetheless believed that examination, critical consciousness applied to questions of virtue and the good, could eliminate false knowledge and muddled opinion. http://venitism.blogspot.com
Socrates saw rational examination and pursuit of truth and virtue as the essence of what a human being is and the highest expression of human nature. That is why he chose to die rather than to give it up: The unexamined life, he said, is no worth living. Vardaskans understand the dialogue in a way that differs sharply from that of Socrates.
For Vardaskans, dialogue does not mean an attempt to rationally debate a topic in order to arrive at the truth. Truth is already given. It's called Tito's Dogma, and the only dialogue that is acceptable is one that will eventually lead to the implementation of Tito's Dogma of finding an exit to the Aegean Sea by robbing the name and heritage of Greek Macedonia. http://venitism.blogspot.com
