I live in Western Massachusetts, but I wonder if the Rhode Island Natural
History Survey might be able to connect you with a project.
I believe David Gregg is the director.
He helped one of my graduate classmates with her masters thesis on the
effects of chytrid fungus on R.I. amphibians.
A resource you might enjoy is J.D. Lazell's book "This Broken Archipelago:
Cape Cod & the Islands, Amphibians and Reptiles"
