Its been all over our local news. NOT everything is going to PA, but it
depends on where you live. All mail is being consolidated, rather than
local sort and delivery - which would mean local mail would be received
next day or sometimes even same day - all rural and small town zips are
being sent to large city collection points. I'm in SE Kansas. All mail
from this quarter of the state is sent to Wichita for processing. So
local mail is delayed by a day or sometimes two. Its an adjustment
especially for folks using mail (and mailed newspapers or other printed
material) for advertising sales and such. So it was widely publicised
that this is happening, and that it isn't just all - all across the
country processing is being consolidated. Sara
