Well I was talking about back to basic items like the scrub boards and squeegies and then of course clothes line! I have thought about making my own laundry soap using borax, arm and hammer soda and shaved bar soap and heat! Said to be 17 cents per wash that way and eco friendly too, but haven't yet talked with any one that does that and how good it cleans ect.. Altho I am wanting to start making my own liquid and bar soaps, not sure on the laundry one yet! Judi in NC

Hi Judi,
When you say clothes washing items, are you talking about making your laundry soap? If so, even though Lehman's has a kit containing all the ingredients, you can buy them cheaper at Walmart, Kroger or other stores.

I have yet to order from them, but have a long list ready of lanterns, garden
ools, clothes washing items, and general back to livin in 1800 era items! Just
o I will be prepared and can deal with anything! Glad to hear others really
