Hi Michelle,
I have a couple of the hot plate holders and I really like them. I have a sewing machine. Now, I need to learn to sew so I can make some of these.
One thing I'm putting together this year is Potpourri. I use cellophane bags and in each bag, I put an orange, a lemon or lime, some bay leaves, a couple cinnamon sticks and a few whole cloves. Have a label to put on the bag, saying to slice the fruit and add it to water along with other ingredients. Put it on your wood stove or electric stove and enjoy the smell of Christmas (holiday).
I make a spice tea using Instant tea, Crystal lite and spices.
I shop for toiletries all year, getting them on sale and sometimes free. I fill a bag with shampoo, body wash, deodorant, shave cream, razors, etc for each member of my family. I fix ten bags and this year it will be one extra for my nephew's wife to be.

Hi Eunice,
love homemade gifts! Back once upon a time when I had little ones at home and
idn't work we made most of our gifts. My favorites were always homemade
ersonalized Christmas ornaments. You can use items purchased for dollhouses and
eally get creative. I would try to make an ornament that had a special meaning
or each person, a particular memory or event from the year was the best. We
lso of course did warm pack (the ones you heat up in the microwave for your
ack, neck, etc...), hot plate holders with cinnamon and cloves...all kinds of
reat things.
Now that I work full time and also run a full time business my time less
vailable and I have to cheat. This year for my employees I'm filling quart
ason jars with homemade cookies wrapped in pretty foils and cellophane and
opping with candies and chocolates.
I can't wait what others are doing!
