Hi Biomappers' group,
I am currently having some issues with your software biomapper 4. I went throughout the pdf help file, the FAQs online and the wikipage, but haven't found any answer to my errors. I would really appreciate if you can help me here.
I created all my EGVs using the convertor module provided in the biomapper4 package. Each time I was making sure that the selected extension was for a quantitative map and that the background was -999 for each EGVs created. Now I can add them to biomapper 4 but when I try to verify the maps I get this message:
"An error happened while looking for discrepancies. Access violation at address 006E7774 in module `BioMapper4.exe'. Read of address 00D6B1C7."
What does it mean?
All my layers have the same number of columns, rows, Max X, Min X, Max Y, Min Y and ref. system, even for my species map.
I also have difficulties with my species file. I created a tab delimited table with the coordinate of the species and another column with Boolean values (0 and 1). Again I converted my table with the convertor module to make .rst and .rdc files making sure that the extension for the map was Boolean. When however I right click to mark the map as the species map, I get this message:
"The species map you selected is not a Boolean map. Its information will be used as weights into further analyses."
Why is it not Boolean, when I asked for it?
For sure, I am not able to run the factor analysis. Can you provide me some clues about what are and where are my mistakes? I really turned around every possibility that I thought about but didn't succeed to resolve my errors. I am interested in the factor analysis, not the habitat suitability. Is there any way to use your algorithms in R if no answers are found?
Thank you for your time.
