Is anyone aware of a method of RE-introducing rabbits into the wild.
First I would check with the local wildlife management to see why there are
no rabbits. If it is ok to reintroduce they may be able to point you in the right direction. There may be a reason they are gone. If there is
no know reason why the rabbits have dissapeared then by all means try
it. Rabbits need a food source, water, and cover in the wild, if one is missing then so will the rabbits. If you know of someone who catches
them then see if they will give you let you buy some to repopulate your area .. it
would also be in their interest to have a good sizes population around,
depending on the resources of the area. Hope this helps.
