I copied down the info you gave. Gotta check these out another time (I'm "working" lol) This Fashion Sewing Group you mentioned--is it a Yahoo group?
The reason I've held off on buying fabrics online is the shipping and possibly having to order a minimum but mostly because I like to feel the fabric to be sure it's what I want for the garment, also to judge quality of the fabric.
Oh, to be so organized as to have clothes that go together! Never had that before. I just don't like shopping and avoid it as much as possible, so I don't usually have that many clothes--plus I was raised in a pretty poor household so don't really feel like I need many different outfits. But then I work at home, too--which I'd better get back to if I want to keep my client. Thanks for the info.
Your dd is a lucky girl!

> While I haven't purchased fabrics yet, I'm looking at fashionsewing.com, emmaonesock.com, fabric.com, and a couple other places. The newsletters from Fashion Sewing Group are fabulous, so I'm hopeful there.

She and I are working on a sloper for her, and I'm planning a new Navy ensemble for her first... jacket, slacks, skirt, dress, blouses. Once that is successful, we'll head into a Grey ensemble, then Black. Yeah, I'm pretty confident we can make it work... if I can just find the fabric and get a sloper & patterns just right!
