It's impossible for Greeks to produce when Graecokleptocrats loot them with heavy taxes, especially the 23% VAT, demand kickbacks, confiscate computers and personal files, impose stupid laws and regulations, harass dissident bloggers, condone cybercop brutality, and spread the cancer of socialism.

Sherk asserts rabblerousers and governments should take immediate action to encourage job creation. Successfully doing so requires understanding why employers create jobs. Businesses and entrepreneurs hire workers to take advantage of opportunities in order to create goods and services that consumers value — at a profit. Many government interventions in the economy reduce those opportunities.

Small businesses currently identify taxes, kleptocracy, and government regulations as their most important problems. Businesses are forward-looking and fear that kleptocrats will raise taxes to cover the cost of recent government spending sprees. The economy is struggling forward—against the government-applied parking breaks.

Sherk notes rabblerousers and governments can encourage lasting job creation by allowing a better business climate to exist, reemoving barriers to business success and reducing unnecessary costs encourages businesses to hire employees:

* Adopt the pro-growth, job-creating New Flat Tax. The New Flat Tax abolishes the individual income, payroll, capital gains, dividends, estate, and corporate income taxes, replacing them with a simplified, single-rate tax on income after deducting savings (an expenditure tax) of individuals, and a single tax on the domestic net cash flow of businesses. These measures minimize the distortions of the tax code and encourage investment.

* Allow expanded exploration, recovery, transport, and use of fossil fuels. Such developments will enable additional investment in the domestic oil, gas, and coal industries. The additional energy production will also lower energy costs, further benefiting individuals and the economy as a whole.

* Grant free-trade agreement negotiation authority to presidents. Free trade benefits the economies of both trading partners as they realize gains from exchange. Expanding trade negotiating authority will facilitate more trade deals that will promote additional investment and job creation.

* Cut over-regulation of the economy. Government regulations impose a significant burden on businesses, which often have to divert resources from productive investments in order to comply with government mandates. Government agencies should receive parliamentary approval before implementing major new regulations.

* Repeal stupid socialistic acts and prohibit government-mandated project labor agreements. Regulations artificially inflate the cost of government construction projects. By repealing these stupid regulations, the taxpayers could, at the same cost, build more infrastructure, employing hundreds of thousands more workers in the process. http://venitism.blogspot.com

* Reduce political corruption and abolish parliamentary immunity. Greece is the queen of political corruption in Occident. The impunity of the 300 MPs of the Grand Brothel on Syntagma Square is the most freakish thing on Earth. Even though Graecokleptocrats looted many billion euros in kickbacks and churning, not a single Graecokleptocrat has ever gone to jail! Graecokleptocrats are protected by the parliamentary immunity, and nobody can touch them, no matter what. Moreover, they have the nerve to jail dissident bloggers. * Abolish military kickbacks. The largest kickbacks originate in the military industry. Military procurement is a corrupt business from top to bottom. The process is dominated by advocacy, with few checks and balances. Most people in power love this system of doing business and do not want it changed. War and preparation for war systematically corrupt all parties to the state-private transactions by which the government obtains the bulk of its military products. There is a standard 10% kickback to kleptocrats for military purchases.

* Abolish blogbusting. Blogbusters galore! Freak! Freak! Freak! The freakish government of Greece, the most corrupt country in Occident, steals computers! Robbing dissident bloggers and locking them in jail is a freakish behavior that does not belong to the European Union, not even to this galaxy! No wonder some vain Greeks boast they come from Andromeda galaxy!

* Abolish licensure. Licensure is a sign of slavery. All licenses of the kangaroo justice government of Greece should be abolished, including doctors, lawyers, and marriage. The kangaroo government of Greece licensure is an immoral exercise of force, an overly burdensome restraint on trade, a violation of the right to liberty, a mill of kickbacks. Government is a guarantor of liberty and is compatible with liberty only if its range is adequately restricted to the preservation of economic freedom.

* Abolish political mafias. In Greece, there are no real political parties, but political mafias! There are no political leaders, but political godfathers. Any MP who does not kowtow to the godfather automatically is expelled from the mafia. The two main political mafias, Pasok and Nea Democratia, have destroyed Greece and debased the Greek soul.

* Abolish VAT and sales taxes. The imposition of a VAT is the precursor to bigger government. It is simply too easy for kleptocrats to raise a tax that is hidden from citizens. VAT is embedded in the final cost of the goods sold, and is hidden to the consumer. VAT is applied at every stage of consumption, from wholesale to retail. It is passed along until it literally becomes as much an inherent and cloaked component in the price as transportation or raw materials. As a result, countries that have adopted VAT have been sorely tempted to raise the rate over time.

* Abolish charge stacking. The freakish government of Greece uses charge stacking to persecute dissident bloggers. Charge stacking is the ability to charge a large number of overlapping crimes for a single course of conduct. Combining crimes enables prosecutors to get convictions in cases where there is no misconduct at all. By stacking enough charges, including treason, Greek prosecutors jack up the threat value of a trial against a dissident blogger, even if the government's case is very weak.
