[vernalpool] 5th-8th grade curricula?

 

Hi all,
I am teaching a field ecology class to ten 5th-8th grade homeschool
students in the tri-state NY-VT-MA area. In the next 10 weeks we will be
doing a herp and vernal pool unit, with lots of field experience. I will
be developing a curriculum for this class, but wondered if any of you can
point me to pre-existing materials so that I don't need to reinvent the
wheel. We will be starting, appropriately enough, on Leap Day!
