Hey, I'm new to the group and we are just now really starting to become sustainable, it has taken us awhile to get to this point and I'm really excited about our new way of living. My question is does anyone that lives in Florida and raises pigs/hogs want to trade a pig or 2 for a bunch of chicks. I'm not sure how many people actually butcher farm raised chickens but I will definately make up the difference in money with PLENTY of chicks. It is so expensive to buy animals for food and I would like to hook up with some people in our area that would like to trade back and forth with animals and product instead of so much money (like people did in the simpler days). All of our chickens are very healthy and hand raised and at this point without medication of any kind. If you are interested please let me know.
