Hi Debi,
This brought back memories of a neighbor we had. This was so true of him. He would offer one time. If you did not take it or come and get it, there was no second chance. I can remember picking beans that were tough because I knew what would happen if I didn't. I can still see him coming down our drive knowing that he was bringing an over abundance of zucchini, but I always found a way to use them.
He has been dead for many years, but I still miss him, still miss his garden.
