Well the wood frogs have been very busy as I found a large number of egg masses at the one narrow end of the pool I have not gone past in a couple of days. I did see 7 pairs yesterday. Had a male and a female spotted salamander in one of my traps this morning. Daily min temp went down to 26.6F and max came up as 80.2F. May have to move the thermometer as I wonder if it is catching a bit of sunshine at some point in the day, although home temp did get to 73.4F.
