I visited our local vernal pool complex in Keene, NH this afternoon: only
one or two wood frogs chorusing, but wood frog eggs a-plenty in most of the
pools. I found a few Jefferson salamander egg masses, but no spotted
salamander eggs or spermatophores. I'll check back again in a couple of
days, but at the moment it looks like the spotties haven't yet migrated, at
least in Keene!
Best,
Brett
