Matt et al. Only a sprinkle when the front passed through Amherst. Probably less than an inch precipitation over the last month.
I agree with Karro. I have started visiting a number of pools on the Quabbin and water levels are what I would expect in mid-summer. Many pools are dry, reasonable numbers of spotted egg masses, wood frog larvae don't seem to be widely present.
The year is over for many pools and if we don't get regular and abundant precipitation immediately, it will be a 'lost year' for pool amphibians.
