When Islamists deny the most basic freedoms to their own people, it is obscene
for them to start claiming that Israel is violating the Palestinians' rights.
All Muslims who are genuinely concerned with human rights should, as their very
first action, seek to oust their own despotic rulers and adopt the type of free
society that characterizes Israel. http://venitism.blogspot.com
An Iranian official called this week for an Islamic Awakening movement to help Palestinian Authority Arabs demolish the Zionist regime! The comments were made at a conference in Tehran in honor of Nakba Day the day of catastrophe which is what the Arabs call the English date of May 15, when the State of Israel was re-established with a declaration of independence in 1948.
Israel is a bastion of freedom and Graecoroman culture, an economic miracle, and
a leader in science and technology. Israel is the only free country in a region
dominated by Arab monarchies, theocracies and dictatorships. It is only the
citizens of Israel, Arabs and Jews alike, who enjoy the right to express their
views, to criticize their government, to form political parties, to publish
private newspapers, to hold free elections.
In a brief address at the end of the conference, the official, Hossein Shiekholeslam declared that in success of a revolution three major factors need to play effective roles, and they are the people, the leadership, and the school of thought, or ideology. Shiekholeslam said if Muslims wish success for the Palestinians, the existence of these three factors is necessary, as they did exist in the case of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. Sheikholeslam hoodwinked that in near future the Islamic Awakening movement would also swallow the Zionist regime!
Hey! I wish to deliver the keynote speech at your conference. My speeches leave the audience thinking something new or resolved to act, stir the emotions as well as appealing to reason, and show a sense of occasion. I get away with elevated language because my liberty cause is a noble one. I practice a colorful rhetoric enriched with alliterations, metaphors, heightened imagery, emotional effect, and sound bites. Basil Venitis, venitis@gmail.com
Netanyahu is pushing not only for Obama's acceptance of whatever action Israel decides to take but for stronger language against Iran that goes beyond the all-options-are-on-the table mantra. But Obama has been working to convince Netanyahu that a go-it-alone attack would cause only a temporary setback to Tehran's nuclear ambitions while plunging the already-volatile Middle East into chaos. An explicit American military threat would be counterproductive right now, especially due to the potential for further spikes in global oil prices.
Netanyahu will not go as far as providing assurances that Israel will consult Washington - its biggest source of military assistance, before launching any strikes on Iran, which has called for the destruction of the Jewish state. Anyone who thinks that Israel is not going to make its own decision, particularly on an issue they view in existential terms, is kidding himself.
The noise from Israel over a possible strike is geared more toward pressuring the international community for further sanctions than foreshadowing an imminent attack on Iran. Netanyahu would prefer to see a Republican take control of the White House in 2013 for fear that Obama's re-election would give him a freer hand to push anew for Israeli concessions to the Palestinians during a second term.
According to International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA), there is no evidence that Iran has diverted enriched uranium from the peaceful and lawful generation of power toward building a nuclear weapon. According to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran has every right to develop nuclear energy for peaceful purposes. Unfortunately, US foreign policy has boxed Iran into a corner where they may view development of a nuclear weapon as the only way to maintain sovereignty. They are surrounded by unfriendly nuclear powers and history has shown that having a nuclear weapon is the best way to avoid being bombed or invaded. The unintended consequences of our confrontational policies toward Iran may be to actually encourage them to seek nuclear weapons capabilities. We should be using diplomacy rather than threats and hostility.
Hail! A sensitive issue cannot be fully explained in a post, but only in a speech, in that magic eyeball to eyeball contact, baring my soul, and declaring truths that cause shock and awe. That's why I look forward to the invitation of your organization to speak at your conference. Basil Venitis, venitis@gmail.com
Michael Scheuer points out Washington, Tel Aviv, and London are
already conducting a lethal, covert-action war inside Iran which is killing
Iranian nuclear scientists and destroying nuclear-related facilities, as well as
trying to goad Tehran into reacting with violence and thereby give the West a
casus belli. Such a war would be a financial and military disaster for the
United States, and would be watched with glee by Russian and Chinese leaders who
while their countries would lose some trade with Iran during a war would
applaud another U.S. self-inflicted wound which further erodes the already
failing economy that is the base of American power.
Israeli intelligence is behind many of the virus attacks on Iran!
Stuxnet entered the global political arena in June 2010. The virus had attacked computers at Iran's Natanz nuclear facility, where scientists are enriching uranium, and manipulated the centrifuges to make them self-destruct. It is a digital bunker buster. The virus represents a fundamentally new addition to the arsenal of modern warfare. It enables a military attack using a computer program tailored to a specific target.
Benjamin Netanyahu is the only Israeli politician today who could deliver the majority of Israel's Jewish population to a painful compromise with the Palestinians. He is also one of the few whose endorsement of a deal between Tehran and Washington would allay the concerns of even more hawkish Israelis. The average Israeli trusts that Netanyahu would not sell out their interests for a Nobel Peace Prize.
Israel is a beacon of freedom in an unfree region, a beacon of life in a place of darkness. If Israel falls, the West falls. Mothers in the West can sleep safely because Israeli mothers at night worry about their sons in the army. Their fight is our fight. We should support it. Israel is, indeed, a vital outpost of Graecoroman civilization. That is why Islam conditions the faithful to hate the Jewish state and to view its destruction as an imperative. It is our duty to stand with Israel.
Iran promotes the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, a classic in paranoid racist literature. Taken by the gullible as the confidential minutes of a Jewish conclave convened in the last years of the nineteenth century, it has been heralded by antisemites as proof that Jews are plotting to take over the world. Since its contrivance around the turn of the century by the Czarist secret police has taken root in bigoted frightened minds around the world.
The Protocols spells out the alleged secret plans of Jewish leaders seeking to attain world domination. It represents the most notorious political hoax of the last two centuries. Although thoroughly discredited, the document is still being used to stir up antisemitic hatred. The world-control myth was actually lifted from a 19th century French political satire in which the alleged plotters weren't even Jewish.
The Protocols served to rationalize antisemitism and genocide in Hitler's Germany. The myth of the Jewish world conspiracy permeated Hitler's thinking, and he linked Germany's economic hardship during the 1920s to the secret plot. Once in power, Hitler invoked the Protocols to justify antisemitic legislation and suppression of all opposition to Third Reich.
Due to the political hoax of Protocols, antisemitism in Greece is out of control. A Greek judge wrote on her blog that she wished Hitler had exterminated Jews completely! A Greek politician wrote in his book: I am a Nazi and a fascist, a racist, antidemocratic and an antisemite. My book is simple proof that we don't count on the Jews. We despise them for their morality, for their religion, for their deeds, which all prove they are subhumans!
Wow! Smart words are more effective than smart bombs! Mighty words of a charismatic keynote speaker can transform your people to a new dimension of organizational climate, efficiency, self-actualization, enthusiasm, belonging, and motivation. I would like very much to speak at your conference in order to explain critical points much further. Basil Venitis, venitis@gmail.com
