You might try chevontalk, which is a meat goat group, or dairy goat journal is online! Or just google diary goat, meat goat magazines! There are a lot online, and that is how I have started to research goats and rabbits for when I get my little place up and running! Rabbit meat is the leanes and healthiest meat and the cheapest to raise! Just an idea on the rabbit :) judi

Hello my name is Betta, I live in Clinton Washington on Whidbey Island, and I am trying to start a very small family farm. Mainly trying to be as self-sufficient as I can. I recently got my first 2 goats. Both are buckling bottle babies at 2 weeks old. They are Alpine Boer crosses and very sweet. I am interested in finding other people with goats in my area that might have dairy, fiber or crosses doelings in my general area.
