Pigs penises are "corkscrew" at the tip to facilitate breeding. It may just be his penis. Watch him for a day and see if he can urinate and if he is acting normal or if he is in pain. Pigs breed for a long time and it may be irritated and that is why it has not retracted totally into the sheath. If he is not urinating or is acting like he is in pain contact the vet in the am. Good luck and I remember the first time in vet tech school the shock I felt when I first examined a male pig!!!!

Subject: [Homesteadingfamily] Pig help needed really fast!!!!!
I am going to try to keep this as clean as I can....We have several pigs and yesterday a smaller male was trying to breed a larger female (only by a few inches bigger). Well, today I go out there and he has something hanging out of his penis. It is rather large and almost like it is in a knot. I don't know if it is his intestines or his actual penis and I don't know what to do. Should we put him down or will it fix itself? I can't find anything on the internet that will answer my problem and I have never experienced this before. Thank you so much for your help and I hope this wasn't too graphical!!!!
