I have read that also BUT the chickens eat the worms in the worm bed under
the rabbits.... trade off I guess.

We also raise chickens and rabbits too. My husband and I just recently read
in the book "You Can
Farm"<http://www.amazon.com/You-Can-Farm-Entrepreneurs-Enterprise/dp/0963810

by
Joel Salatin. He runs Polyface Farms and is an avid natural farmer. We
learned reading his book that chickens actually eat rabbit feces. Because
of the way rabbits process their food, the feces comes out clean for
chickens to eat.
We have moved our coop under and all around our rabbits and have
supplemented our feed with the feces.
This has really cut down costs for us.
Just my two cents :)
